Guaranteed Scholarships, this site offers you information on quite a few colleges and universities as well as individual scholarships available. Scholarships, grants, and financial aid are available to students in many forms.

They have put together an online directory of college and university admissions office email addresses and telephone numbers, college scholarship and financial aid office email addresses, and links to the home pages and online applications of more than a thousand colleges and universities.

Minnesota Students of Color Invited to Apply for Page Foundation College Scholarships. The foundation is currently accepting applications for educational grants from Minnesota students of color who plan to study at accredited Minnesota colleges, universities, or vocational schools next year. Approximately 500 renewable grants ranging from $900 to $2,500 per year will be awarded for the 2001-02 academic year. In addition to maintaining their studies, grant recipients must complete a service-to-children project that involves helping younger children of color by acting as mentors and role models for approximately two hours per week during the school year. Deadline: May 01, 2002.

NAFSA: Association of International Educators is offering several scholarship opportunities: ASEAN Student Assistance Awards Program (ASAAP) - ASAAP is a public-private partnership, providing scholarships to students from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines currently enrolled at accredited 4-year academic institutions in the U.S.

Korean Student Assistance Awards Program (KSAAP) - KSAAP is a public-private partnership, providing scholarships to students from the Republic of Korea currently enrolled at accredited 4-year academic institutions in the U.S.

Rhys Glynn-Jones Memorial South Pacific Scholarship Program is a scholarship program for undergraduate students from the South Pacific who are currently enrolled at accredited higher education institutions in the U.S.

The American Cancer Society, is offering college scholarships of $1,000 for the fall 2002 school year to young cancer survivors in Indiana and Michigan to help them achieve their goals of higher education.

McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals, makers of the Tylenol family of products, has announced that students preparing for health-related careers can apply for one of 160 grants from the Tylenol Brand Scholarship Fund. This year's fund will total $250,000, including ten grants of $10,000 each and 150 grants of $1,000 each. To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate course of study in the fall of 2002 at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school. This includes those students currently enrolled in an undergraduate course of study and who have one or more years of school remaining. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of leadership in their community and school activities, grade point average, and intended focus on healthcare-related areas of study.

The American Chemical Society sponsors scholarship programs for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, as well as students seeking a two-year degree in chemical technology. The programs are designed to encourage African American, Hispanic, and Native American students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences and chemical technology. Deadline: February 15, annually.

Tao Shing Pee Education Foundation - providing scholarships for Chinese citizens to study in the MBA program at Harvard Business School.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Launches Graduate Scholarships Program. The Cooke Foundation has announced that it is accepting applications for its Graduate Scholarships Program. In the first year of the program, the foundation will dedicate $2.5 million to fund graduate scholarships for 50 college seniors who are residents of Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. (The program is expected to expand in successive years to support students from other states and countries.)

GreenPoint Financial Corp. has announced that GreenPoint Foundation, the educational and charitable affiliate of GreenPoint Bank, is now accepting applications for the 2002 GreenPoint Achiever (GPA) Scholarship Program. GreenPoint Achievers scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Applicants must reside in the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, or Staten Island, or Westchester, Nassau, or Suffolk Counties. Winners are selected for their academic performance, financial need, and future potential, as reflected by their participation in school and neighborhood community service, work experience, and educational goals. Each scholarship is worth up to $10,000 over a four-year period. A total of 100 new scholarships representing a commitment of $1,000,000 will be awarded in June 2002.

Zenith Foundation - offers maritime training, scholarships, and environmental study programs for at risk youth in Washington State.

The Women's Sports Foundation is Accepting Applications for Grants and Scholarship Programs.

The State Farm Companies Foundation currently supports scholarship programs for undergraduate and graduate students. In 2000, the Foundation provided more than $1.8 million in scholarship support.

Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting
The Educational Foundation awards scholarships to women who are pursuing accounting degrees at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The Nina Scholars Program is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for individuals who would not normally receive traditional academic scholarships, and whose personal commitments and financial circumstances would preclude their attendance without substantial, long-term scholarship support.

Amazon Foundation is currently re-examining its scholarship guidelines. New information will be published by October 1, 2001.

Business and Professional Women Foundation
In 1999, the BPW Foundation received more than 1100 applications from qualified women and awarded 226 scholarships. The success of this program is measured in the success of the recipients. Ninety-nine percent of scholarship recipients complete their degrees and double their annual incomes.

The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation is one of the largest sources of scholarship aid in Southwestern New York. A majority of the scholarships are administered by the Foundation for the benefit of graduates of Chautauqua County high schools.

Foundation for Exceptional Children Scholarship Awards 2001-2002 - The Foundation for Exceptional children is accepting applications for the Stanley E. Jackson Scholarship Awards and Infinitec Scholarship Award to be applied toward full-time, post-secondary education or training during 2001-2002. Post-secondary education or training includes two and four year undergraduate college programs or vocational, technical or fine arts training programs.

Inspiration Software Inc. will fund scholarships to defray the costs associated with attendance at a workshop, conference, or graduate course that focuses on visual learning and technology in education. Candidates must be educators in a K-12 public or private school. A minimum of one year of service is required. Twenty scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to qualified candidates. ASM International Foundation as various Scholarship and Awards Programs available. The foundation has the following undergraduate scholarship opportunities available: George A. Roberts Scholarships (seven awards of $6,000 each), the William Park Woodside Founder's Scholarship (full tuition for a year up to $10,000), the Nicholas J. Grant Scholarship (full tuition for a year), ASM Outstanding Scholars Awards (three awards of $2,000 each), ASM Foundation Scholarship Awards (12 awards of $1,000 each), and the ASM Foundation Technical & Community Scholarship Awards (10 awards of $500 each).

The National Tourism Foundation Scholarship Program: In keeping with its commitment to education, since 2001 the Foundation has awarded more than $45,000 in scholarships and granted to outstanding students from colleges and universities across North America.

Association for Women in Science to Give Graduate and Undergraduate Awards. The Association for Women in Science offers graduate and undergraduate awards in the amount of $1,000 for women students pursuing careers in science.

International Education Foundation
Provides scholarships for Russian and Ukranian citizens to attend college in the United States.

Armstrong Foundation Scholarships
The Armstrong Achievement Scholarships ($4,000 per year for four years) are awarded to African-American students who are participants in the National Merit Program and have been designated by the NMSC as National Achievement Scholars.

Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation - providing annual scholarships nationwide for cosmetology students.

Electronic Industries Foundation - $5,000 Scholarships assist OUTSTANDING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS with disabilities who face exceptional barriers to college and career opportunities directly relevant to electronic industries, continuing an 19-year EIF tradition of support. The USA Group Scholarship Program - Minorities with disabilities USA Group, the nation's largest education loan guarantor and administrator, will award up to $10 million in scholarships over the next three to five years.

John Starks Foundation Scholarship
The John Starks Foundation was founded in 1994 to provide academic scholarships to Tulsa graduating seniors. Since it's inception, the foundation has awarded $100,000 in scholarships to Tulsa seniors seeking a higher education.

Ashley's Dream Foundation

Entente Cordiale Scholarships
Entente Cordiale scholarships are awarded to outstanding U.K. and French post-graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral students - all subjects - to study or carry out research for an academic year on the other side of the Channel. Application and reference forms can be downloaded from the website.

Orange County Community Foundation - California
Application due dates range from late February to mid-April. Usually, by early January each year, application information and forms have been posted on related web pages and mailed to the staff person at each appropriate public or private high school who is responsible for scholarship information. The above page has a list of ten different scholarships.

Avista Corp
Avista Corp.'s Mindpower Generation Scholarship Program provides six $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school students. These are one time awards to help students with the critical transition from high school to higher education. Funds may be credited toward tuition, books, fees or required supplies. Students must graduate from a high school or complete a home school program in eastern Washington and northern Idaho (plus Sanders County, Mt.)

Franklin Lindsay Student Aid Fund - Texas
Loans of up to $3,000 per academic year, but not exceeding an aggregate amount of $12,000 for the student's school career, may be granted to any worthy student, at the discretion of the Committee.

Millennium Scholarship Nevada
You must complete high school with at least a 3.0 grade point average calculated using all high school courses. The grade point average may be weighted or unweighted. (Beginning with the graduating class of 2004, the courses used in calculating a grade point average will change.)

ASM International Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Program.
Currently more than 40 scholarships are awarded annually through the ASM International Foundation which is supported by member contributions and other gifts. Most of these awards include a certificate of recognition, travel and housing allowances for attendance at the awards ceremony during the Society’s annual Awards Dinner. The ASM International Foundation Scholarship certificates are presented through local ASM chapters.
